शेंदूर लाल चढ़ायो अच्छा गजमुख को
दोंदिल लाल बिराजे सुत गौरीहर को
हाथ लिये गुड़ लड्डू साईं सुरवर को
महिमा कहे न जाय लागत हूँ पद को
जय जय श्री गणराज विद्यासुखदाता
धन्य तुम्हारा दर्शन मेरा मन रमता
अष्टौ सिद्धि दासी संकट को बैरी
विघ्नविनाशन मंगल मूरत अधिकारी
कोटिसु रोंमें बेटा जात न छोड़ी
संकट से उबारो सेवक जन झुकारी
Transliteration
Shendur lal chadhayo achchha gajamukh ko
dondil lal biraje sut Gaurihar ko
hath liye gud laddu sai survar ko
mahima kahe na jaay lagat hun pad ko
Jai jai shri Ganaraj vidyasukhadata
dhanya tumara darshan mera man ramata
Ashtau siddhi dasi sankat ko bairi
vighna vinashan mangal murat adhikari
kotisu ron me beta jaat na chhodi
sankat se ubaro sevak jan jhukari
What it means
Red vermilion adorns the fair elephant-faced one; the round-bellied lord, son of Gauri and Har, shines bright, a sweet laddu in his hand. Victory to Ganaraj, giver of learning and ease — blessed is your sight, and my heart delights in it. The eight powers are his handmaids and trouble his foe; he is the auspicious one who destroys every obstacle.
